Silver Lining Hypnosis, LLC is owned by Lynn Lewis Ribeiro, MEd, CH who is certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) as a certified hypnotherapist and certified consulting hypnotist (CH) thus enjoying the flexibility of not only engaging in hypnotic work with hypnosis clients individually or in groups, but also of addressing issues presented by referring professionals such as doctors, mental health counselors, dentists or other such professionals in order to best achieve each hypnosis client's desired goals.

(Many goals, such as to quit smoking, can be reached in a single session.) 

Exceeding all NGH requirements for annual recertification through various continuing education opportunities, Lynn takes great pride in expanding on her earlier academic achievements to excel in the field of hypnosis.

Lynn Lewis Ribeiro, MEd, CH remains an active member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, New Hampshire Writers' Project, Mensa, Intertel, and the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry (ISPE). 

 Educational Background

Graduating from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA with a Master’s degree in Education (MEd) as a Generic Specialist after earning Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Music, Lynn Lewis Ribeiro, MEd, CH has continuously held valid Massachusetts Department of Education teacher certifications in the fields of Special Education and Elementary Education since 1976 and has remained certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists in hypnosis, while maintaining continuing education requirements as well.

After attending the New England Conservatory of Music while in high school, and while pursuing her Music major, Lynn Lewis Ribeiro, Med, CH studied piano with Madame Margaret Chaloff in Boston, MA in the early 1970s and had her first formal experiences with the positive changes hypnosis could bring. Madame Chaloff's demonstrations on how to engage one's own mind to improve performance prompted Lynn to seek further study and training in the areas of psychology and hypnosis. For years, Lynn shared Madame Chaloff's wonderful techniques of piano performance and of fine-tuning the mind with her private piano students who ranged in age from preschool through retirement and in ability from beginner through accomplished pianist.

Lynn has also taught scuba diving, earned her pilot's license, written fiction and non-fiction, and has enjoyed a wide range of other sports and hobbies.

As someone interested in using hypnosis to reach a goal, such as to stop smoking, lose weight, improve job performance, etc., you naturally want to feel you are understood and that your specific needs can be met. Understanding the various challenges hypnosis clients might encounter while striving to reach a desired goal, Lynn was pleased to offer hypnotic work to help pave the way to each hypnosis client's success.
